Lady Minutemen Win Tallmadge Invitational With Record Times!

Last night, the Lady Minutemen stormed the track at the Tallmadge Invitational to repeat as meet champions.  The team had great contributions in every single event for a balanced and dominant performance.

Throwers Kaylynn Waldron and Tori Parish started the meet out with some impressive throws in shot and discus.  Tori earned second in disc, Kaylynn placed third, and they tied for second place in shot put!  Lauren DiSalvo placed 2nd in High Jump and Rosa Parsons took 4th.  Josie Schiesswohl was 6th in Long Jump, and Avery Lukehart and Lauren DiSalvo tied for 6th in pole vault!

Things were equally outstanding on the track.  Charlotte Keenan and Leah Valentine put together great nights of sprinting, with 2nd and 3rd placings in the 200 and 3rd and 4th finishes in the 100.  Caroline Wilson ran to a runner up finish in the 400 with Aubrey Gesing taking 8th.  The 800 saw Aleni Bender break teammate Caroline Wilson's meet record to win the event and Keira Lang placed 3rd.  In the 1600, Allyson Schultz ran a great race to place 7th and Keira Lang won with a new meet record in the event! The 3200 was highlighted by an 8th place finish and PR for Ella Slaby and a runner-up placing by Laura Wagner who also PR'd.  The 100 hurdles were all Revere, with Alizya Hunter and Josie Schiesswohl taking 1st and 2nd in the event!  The 300 hurdles saw more great placings with Molly Wolfe earning 7th place and Lily Fox crushing the meet record to earn another win in this event!

Revere's relays were a strong point for the team.  The 4 x 800 of Caroline WIlson, Allyson Schultz, Laura Wagner, and Keira Lang started running out with a 1st place finish, the 4 x 200 of Lily Fox, Kate Fuller, Aleni Bender and Charlotte Keenan placed 2nd, the 4 x100 of Lily Fox, Kate Fuller, Leah Valentine, and Charlotte Keenan placed 2nd, and finally the 4 x 400 team of Aleni Bender, Caroline Wilson, Kate Fuller, and Leah Valentine finished the meet with a new meet record and 1st place finish!
