Casey Nance

Assistant Coach

Girls Varsity Basketball

Casey Nance is entering her seventh season as an assistant coach at Revere.

Over her time on the bench, Nance has been on the coaching staff for a pair of Suburban League American Conference championships (2015-16, 2016-17) and helped the Minutemen to a runner-up finish in the league this past winter. The 2015-16 title-winning team was the first for the school since 1974-75.

Nance was a standout player both at Revere and the University of Dayton. The center was a second-team All-Ohioan in her final two seasons with the Minutemen, along with earning Tri-County Association Player of the Year honors as a senior after averaging 14.8 points and 16.2 rebounds a game. A Revere Athletic Hall of Famer, Nance finished her prep career with 1,037 points, 1,113 rebounds and 281 blocks, holding single-season and single-game school records for both rebounds and blocks.
While at Dayton, Nance finished among the top rebounders in program history and currently is 13th on the school's all-time list for rebounds in a career after playing 131 games for the Flyers. She also is third for blocked shots in a career.

Nance currently serves as the Director of Operations for Athletes Vs. Crohn's and Colitis -- a non-profit group started by her younger brother, Larry Jr., to raise awareness of Crohn’s and Colitis in the adolescent population and help children realize their athletic potential despite being diagnosed with a chronic illness.
