The Girls Varsity Tennis Team placed 2nd overall in the American Division of the Suburban League tournament on Friday, September 25th.   Winning third place in 3rd singles was senior Nina Lazbin.  Maddie Kavenagh won two matches to place 2nd in 2nd singles and the team of Tarini Gowda and Lilly Shenigo placed 2nd in 2nd doubles.  Our first place winners were Jenny Fan and Katie Kinder at 1st doubles and Morgan Dobos at 1st singles.  Congratulations to all players for a successful day!

The Girls varsity tennis team lost a tough match in the 2nd round of the coaches tournament to State ranked team Hathaway Brown 0-5.   Scores were:  Singles: Summer Mu defeated Morgan Dobos 6-2, 6-3; Olivia Gidlow defeated Maddie Kavenagh 6-1, 6-1; and Alex Wolf defeated Nina Lazbin 6-0, 6-0.  Doubles scores were:  Alice Lin-Brigette Fuentes defeated Jenny Fan- Katie Kinder 6-0, 6-0; Ally Mills-Kate Mills defeated Tarini Gowda-Lilly Shenigo 6-1, 6-1. The Varsity Girls tennis team defeated Aurora tonight 5-0.  Winning for Revere were singles players Morgan Dobos, Maddie Kavenagh, and Nina Lazbin.  Winning at doubles was Jenny Fan and Katie Kinder at 1st  and Tarini Gowda and Lilly Shenigo at 2nd.  Awesome match by Shreya Gupta at exhibition winning  6-1, 6-2! The girls are now 5-1 in the league and 12-4 overall.  They will face  Hathaway Brown in the coaches tournament on Monday at home.  Congratulations team! The Girls Varsity  Tennis team defeated Cuyahoga Falls today 4-1.  The singles players, Morgan Dobos, Maddie Kavenagh, and Nina Lazbin won easily in two sets against their opponents.  The 2nd doubles team of Tarini Gowda and Lilly Shenigo won in three sets while the first doubles team of Jstie Kinder and Jenny Fan narrowly lost in a third set tiebreaker.  Our exhibition doubles team of Mollie Gray and Sherya Gupta had a big win at 6-1,6-1.   The team is now 3-1 and their next opponent is Brecksville on Tuesday, August 25th.  Way to go team! The varsity girls tennis team defeated St Vincent St Mary on Tuesday, August 18th  4-1.  Winning for Revere was Morgan Dobos at 1st singles and Maddie Kavenaugh at 2nd singles in straight sets.  The 1st doubles team of Jenny Fan and Katie Kinder defeated their opponents 6-0, 6-0.  The 2nd doubles team of Tarini Gowda and Lilly Shenigo had a slow start but won the 2nd and 3rd sets soundly!  Revere singles player Nina Lazbin, lost a tough match at 3rd singles. The Revere Lady Minutemen opened their season against the Jackson Polar Bears in Massillon today losing a tough one 0-5!   Revere's 1st singles player, Morgan Dobos, had a very competitive match losing  in two sets 4-6, 4-6 to Jackson sophomore Paige Reese.  Maddie Kavenagh, Revere's 2nd singles player, lost her match against Madison Attaan 2-6, 1-6. Third singles player, Nina Lazbin had a very tough match against Junior Abby Williams losing in straight sets.  Revere's 3 doubles teams lost tough matches as well, in two sets against their opponents.   The JV team also competed at Jackson on Wednesday afternoon  losing  to their opponents 10-1. Good efforts by all team players!
