Lady Minutemen have Legendary Performances in Trumbull County!

Minutemen Lose: -
This weekend, the girls cross country team traveled to the Trumbull County Fairgrounds to the Legends Invitational.  It was definitely a legendary meet, with 15 all time PR's set and several season's best times as well.  
 
The team placed 9th in their largest meet of the season, with a total of 43 teams and 380 athletes competing! Caroline Wilson led the team with 22nd place to earn a medal.  Allyson Schultz crushed her PR to finished next for the team in 39th place.  Kajsa Martynyuk PR'd to finish next while Ella Slaby, Lauren DiSalvo, and Rosa Parsons all also Pr'd.  Larkin Carroll toughed it out in her race while not feeling well to complete the team's top 7!
 
Among the many PR's, some of the standouts included senior Kate Fuller who bettered her previous PR from her freshman year and broke 24 for the first time, Kristan Crane who ran a PR by nearly 2 minutes, Hannah Kim and Nora Burke who each ran nearly a minute faster than their best, Laura Fondran, Cortney Fashinpaur, and Ellie Long all broke 23 minutes for the first time, Akua Osei-Boaten dropped a big PR and Aubrey Schultz improved her PR by almost 4 minutes!

Revere/Copley Rivalry Showdown!

Minutemen Lose: -
The Revere Girls Cross Country Team squared off against Copley last night in a heated rivalry showdown at Silver Creek Metropark.  The Lady Minutemen put together their most inspiring racing of the season to dominate their half of the race.  The team captured 8 of the top ten places, 12 of the top 15, and had 9 runners in before Copley's 3rd runner!  
 
Caroline WIlson led the team with her 1st place finish and Allyson Schultz finished 3rd overall.  Larkin Carroll was next in 4th place while Kajsa Martynuk, Charlotte Keenan, Ella Slaby, Rosa Parsons and Courtney Fashinpaur completed the top 10 finishers for Revere!  
 
Disalvo, Long, Fondran, Lawrence and Fuller all ran impressively to place in the top 20, and  Kim, Drouhard, Crane, Eldridge, Burke, Bhalla, Slaven, Collins and Treichel completed an awesome full team performance  to finish with top 30 placings for Revere. 
 
Despite the team's strong performance, the Revere Cross Country Program came up just short of the golden spike this year.  This will feed the team's motivation as they work toward the Suburban league Championships in two weeks!

Lady Minutemen Step up at Strongsville

Minutemen Lose: -
On Saturday, the Revere Girls Cross Country team competed at the Strongsville Invitational. Although shorthanded, the team had lots of runners step up to help Revere finish in the top half of both races! 
 
Caroline Wilson led the team by medaling with a top 30 finish, while Allyson Schultz also raced great to come in second for the team in 61st place.  Larkin Carroll ran a new PR to finish 3rd for the team and Ella Slaby and Lauren DiSalvo put together great races to complete the varsity team's scoring!  Rosa Parsons, Ellie Long and Kaitlyn Newey also ran great for the varsity team.  
 
The JV team was led by strong running Camryn Lawrence, Courtney Fashinpaur, Laura Fondran, Norah Brownlee, and Lily Fox who all finished in the top third of the race and scored for the Minutemen.  Kate Fuller and Hannah Kim came next across the line to also finish in the top half of the race!  The whole team did an excellent job battling a hot mid-morning race to turn in great performances!

RHS Girls Cross Country battles at the Spartan Invite!

Minutemen Lose: -
The Girls cross country team battled hot conditions at the Boardman Spartan Invitational on Saturday.  The team put together impressive performances at all levels in their largest meet of the year!  
 
In a field with over 30 teams and 250 runners, the varsity team competed well.  Keira Lang and Caroline WIlson each earned medalist honors with top 50 placings while Allyson Schultz, Ella Slaby and Lauren DiSalvo completed the teams scoring to earn 12th.  Larkin Carroll, Rosa Parsons and Courtney Fashinpaur completed the varsity lineup with great racing all around! 
 
The Junior varsity race saw more great running from the MInutemen.  Ellie Long led the team by placing 37th out of over 300 runners! Camryn Lawrence, Norah Brownlee, Lily Fox, and Kate Fuller, completed the scoring 5 with great performances to place Revere midway in the pack.  Hannah Kim and Zoe Drouhard finished next for the team to complete their top 7.

Girls XC Celebrates Senior Night with a Big Win!

Minutemen Lose: -
The Girls cross country team celebrated senior night with a perfect score in their meet against Kent Roosevelt.  The team captured the first 8 placings and won the meet with the lowest score possible - 15 points!  
 
Keira Lang and Caroline Wilson crossed the line together to capture the first two places while Larkin Carroll ran through next in 3rd place.  Allyson Schultz placed 4th for the team and Charlotte Keenan finished next in 5th place.  Courtney Fashinpaur led a wave of Minutemen to the finish with her 6th place finish.  Ella Slaby, Kajsa Martynyuk, Rosa Parsons, Ellie Long, Laura Fondran, Camryn Lawerence and Lauren DiSalvo all ran strong to break 25 minutes shortly after on a hot night! 
 
A special shout out and thank you goes to seniors Camryn Bir, Norah Brownlee, Zoe Drouhard, Audrey Drushell, Sophie Eldridge, Lily Fox, Kate Fuller, Charlotte Keenan and Allyson Schultz.  Their leadership, support, and hard work during their time as Minutemen has set a great example for their teammates and continues to push the team to new heights!  
 
The team competes again on Saturday at the Boardman Invitational.  Wish them luck!

Revere Girls XC Places 3rd at The Walsh Pat Ritchie Invitational!

The girls cross country team competed at the Walsh Pat Ritchie Invitational this weekend where the Varsity earned 3rd place and the JV placed 4th!  
 
The varsity team saw great improvement from the previous week, with 6 seasons best times, and 1 PR.  The team was led by Keira Lang who placed 4th overall and Caroline Wilson who placed 6th! Allyson Schultz ran a strong race to earn a medal with 21st place while Ella Slaby ran a great PR to place as a varsity top 5 scorer for the first time!  Kajsa Martynyuk, Lauren DiSalvo, and Larkin Carroll all also ran strong to complete the team's top 7.  
 
The JV team saw 5 season's best times including 4 PR's en route to their 4th place finish.  The team was led by Kaitlyn Newey who ran a huge PR to finish 8th overall! Courtney Fashinpaur was next for the Minutemen with another PR and 12th place finish while Ellie Long and Camryn Lawrence also PR'd to finish in the top 20!  Norah Brownlee finished strong to score for the team and earn a top 30 place! 
 
The Open Race saw more great results for Revere.  Hannah Kim was the first Minuteman across the line with a new PR and a top 25 finish! Zoe Drouhard was next as she placed 35th, and Lila Papay, Audrey Drushell and Kristan Crane completed the scoring for the team with top 50 finishes!

The team will look to keep going strong as they host Kent Roosevelt this Thursday at Howe Meadow.  This is the team's only home meet, so be sure to come out to support them!

Girls Varsity Cross Country vs. Mentor High School

Minutemen Lose: -

The Minutemen started off their Labor Day weekend with some fantastic running at the Mentor Cardinal Classic Invitational.  With great weather and competition, Revere tallied 15 PR's and 11 Season bests.  This running earned the varsity team 6th place out of 28 teams. Keira Lang led the team with an 11th place finish, while Caroline Wilson placed 25th.  Allyson Schultz placed next for the team in 50th place, while Larkin Carroll and Kajsa Martynyuk each PR'd to complete the teams scoring.  Lauren DiSalvo, Kaitlyn Newey, and Camryn Lawrence also ran personal bests in the race.  

The Junior Varsity team put together a complete team performance to take the 1st place title!  Courtney Fashinpaur was first for the team in 8th place, while Laura Fondran was a step behind in 9th!  Ellie Long came in 3 seconds later in 11th place, Norah Brownlee earned 14th, and Lily Fox placed 18th to complete the top five scorers.  All 5 runners finished within 28 seconds!  Naina Bhalla, Kristan Crane, Audrey Drushell, Hannah Kim, Akua Osei-Boaten, and Aubrey Schultz all ran great to earn PR's on the day!

Girls Varsity Cross Country vs. Glenoak High School

Minutemen Lose: -

The Lady Minutemen opened their season against top competition and hot temperatures at the Glen Oak Eagle Invitational.  The varsity placed 11th in a race that started 26 teams and nearly 180 runners with a great effort by all 9 members of the team. Keira Lang led the way with a 14th place finish, Caroline Wilson Came next in 34th place, Allyson Schultz earned 48th place, Lauren DiSalvo ran to an 89th place finish and Larkin Carroll finished as the final team scorer in 93rd. Kajsa Martynyuk, Ella Slaby, Rosa Parsons and Kaitlyn Newey all ran tough to round out the varsity racing and start the meet off right.  

The JV Minutemen stepped up next with an 8th place finish and lots of great performances!  Camryn Lawrence led the way, finishing 21st out of over 200 runners!  Lily Fox came in next in 38th,  Laura Fondran placed 44th, Courtney Fashinpaur placed 55th and Ellie Long came in right after in 56th as the team's 5th runner!  Kate Fuller and Hannah Kim also put together great performances to finish 63rd and 64th while Norah Brownlee, Jane Collins, Camryn Bir, and Lila Papay all finished in the top 100 of the race!
