Thursday, December 15, the RHS Minuteman participated in a double dual meet with Walsh Jesuit and Canton Central Catholic.
The boys team beat CCC 110-44 but suffered their first loss of the season to Walsh 70-98 and are now 4-1 in dual meet action. Against Walsh, the following boys scored first place: Tate Johnson and Weyland Franklyn and the 200 (Aiden Willaman, Brody Bard, Johnson and Franklyn) and 400 (Johnson, Bard, Owen Willaman and Franklyn) free relays. Versus CCC, a few more boys posted a first place finish- the medley team of the Willaman brothers, Peter Shockey and Will Sveda and in individual events, Owen Willaman, Aiden Willaman and Brody Bard.
Congrats to the following Minutemen for swimming new PRs at this meet:junior Mohammed Essa; sophomores Ben Mauldin, and Will Sveda; and freshmen Daniel Nemer, John Shockey, and Owen Willaman.
