BARBERTON HIGH SCHOOL: 5
SO SS Jennica Levermann helped power Revere to a 9-5 SLA League win over the Barberton Magics. She singled in the second, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth. She also had 2 runs and 2 RBI's to help power the Revere offense.
JR OF Claire Brokloff went 3-4 with 3 singles a run, an RBI and 2 stolen bases. SO. P Shannon Appel went 3-4 with a single, double and triple. Appel also had 2 runs and 2 RBI's. FR 2B Jeanne Hujer added a single , double and 1 RBI and FR 3B Abbie Gayner added 2 singles in the first league win of the 2019 season.
Shannon Appel got her second win of the season. She went seven innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and striking out five.
Revere plays Highland, Thursday at Highland. Game time is 4:30
