The girls Varsity Tennis team participated in the Suburban League tournament over the weekend and placed 2nd in the tournament out of eight teams.
Congratulations to the following team athletes:
Rasika Veerappan and Alena Siedleki, 2nd place at 2nd doubles; Bridget Steiner and Ilyana Leenheer, 2nd place at 1st doubles; Ananya Jayaraman,
2nd place at 3rd singles; Sadhvi Kurra, 2nd place at 2nd singles; and Gabi Iler, 3rd place at 1st singles.
All players contributed to the 2nd place win in the tournament as well as 2nd place in the regular season.
The girls are 11-7 overall and will face Mayfield tonight at Mayfield.
