The Girls Varsity Tennis team defeated Green tonight 4-1. This was a match started in August and completed tonight. Winners were Maddie Kavenagh at 1st singles, Tarini Gowda at 2nd singles and Kimmy Wong at 3rd singles. The 1st doubles team of Mollie Gray and Shreya Gupta won in 3 sets defeating their opponents 5-7, 6-3, 6-1. Exhibition matches were won by Ainsley Jacquemain at singles, and Ava Slaby and Maddie Gostnell at doubles. The team ends their season with 11 wins and 8 losses.
Best luck to singles player Maddie Kavenagh who wiil compete in the quarterfinals of the sectional tournament at Springside Racquet and Fitness club on Thursday at 3:30.
