The Girls Tennis team competed well at the Suburban League Tournament today placing 2nd in the tournament just under undefeated Highland and 1 point higher than Aurora, who defeated Revere in the regular season.

Listed are the results of the Revere players from the tournament today. 

1^st singles:  Morgan Dobos placed 1st in the tournament.

1st round  Morgan Dobos defeated Emma Ondrus (Barberton)  6-0, 6-0

2nd round Morgan Dobos  d. Jillian Endres(Copley) 6-1, 6-0

Finals  Morgan Dobos d. Emily Hadler 6-2, 6-2  (She lost to Emily earlier in the season)   

2nd singles: Maddie Kavenagh placed 3rd

2nd round  Maddie Kavenagh (R) LOST to Julianna Malinowski (Aurora) 6-3, 6-2

3rd singles:  Nina Lazbin placed 3rd

2nd round Nina Lazbin(R) LOST to O'Callaghan (Aurora) 6-3, 6-0

3rd and final round Nina Lazbin(R) d. Megan McClaren (Copley) 6-4, 6-3 (3rd place)

1st doubles: Jenny Fan and Katie Kinder placed 2nd

1st round Jenny Fan/Katie Kinder d. Claudia Palmer/Marley Queen (Tallmadge)  6-1, 6-0

2nd round Jenny Fan/Katie Kinder d. Olivia French/Quincy Bizjak(Aurora) 7-5, 6-4

Finals:  Jenny Fan/Katie Kinder LOST to Madison Pawlak/Sarah Sgambati (Highland)6-2, 6-2. (2nd place)

The final tournament results were:  1st - Highland; 2nd - Revere, 3rd - Aurora; 4th - Copley; 5th - Barberton, and tie for 6th Tallmadge and Kent Roosevelt.

Revere finished 2nd in the tourney and tied for 2nd with Aurora in the final overall standings.  Congratulations to the girls!
