The Varsity Girls tennis team competed to a great victory over  Hawken Upper school last night scoring 4 wins and 1 loss.  Morgan Dobos defeated 1st singles player, Eliana Yang, 6-4, 6-0;  Maddie Kavenagh defeated her opponent, Tina Tewari, at 2nd singles, 1-6, 6-0, 6-3. The 1st doubles team of Jenny Fan and Katie Kinder worked their magic to defeat Julia Amin and Jamie Park in an exciting 3rd set tiebreaker.  Tarini  Gowda and Lilly Shenigo stepped up their game to defeat the team of Mukunda and Morthala in 2 sets - winning by a break in each set!  

This was the 2nd round of the Ohio Coaches Team tournament!  The girls advance to the quarterfinals and will play Laurel in the next round.   The team is now 8-5!  The girls will travel to Medina on Tuesday for their next match!
