The Girls Varsity Tennis Team competed in the Suburban League Tournament at Highland High School on Friday, September 21st. The girls competed in their positions playing a total of three matches during the day. It was a very warm day and the rain held off until the last match but the girls played well and captured a 2nd place win in the tournament! Placing 4th in the tournament were doubles players Margaux Miller and Molly Oldham; placing third in 1st doubles was the team of Maggie Pavlich and Jenny Fan. Nina Lazbin lost her final match in 3rd singles to Joelle Petek from Highland placing 2nd overall. Amy Lazbin played a tough 2nd singles match against Rachel Fannin from Highland with a close loss at 6-4, 6-3. Morgan Dobos, Revere's 1st singles player, lost a close match to Emily Hadler from Highland at 6-2, 6-4.
Congratuations to the team on their victories especially with the 2nd place win in the tournament and overall 2nd place this season! Revere finishes as runner-up to Highland in the Suburban League for 2018 (American Division)
