Revere High School Girls Soccer Team won their second Suburban League game of the season at Tallmadge to improve their conference record to 2-0-0. Revere started strongly and were dominating possession - so much so that it took over 10 minutes for Tallmadge to mount any sort of attack. Despite dominating the game, Revere were struggling to create any meaningful chances and as time wore on, Tallmadge grew in confidence and became more of a threat on the break. Half time arrived with the game goalless and Tallmadge doing a good job of frustrating the Revere offense. The second half seemed to be following the same pattern as the first until Katerina Tsarouhas received a pass from Hailey Janke and tried her luck with a left-footed shot. The Tallmadge goalkeeper fumbled the shot and the ball trickled over the line to give Revere the lead. Shortly afterwards, Morgan Fee was fouled in the area from a corner kick resulting in a penalty to Revere. Fee calmly dispatched the spot kick past the Tallmadge goalkeeper and into the net to double Revere's advantage and ensure the girls won their second consecutive Suburban League game after beating Cuyahoga Falls 8-1 last week. The team improved their record on the season to 3-1-1, and don't have much time to rest as they are back in action tomorrow evening when they host Streetsboro at 6:00pm.
