The Revere High School Girls Soccer Team battled the elements and came away with a 3-0 win at Marlington on Monday evening. Depsite the wind and the rain, which started right around kick off time and continued throughout most of the game, Revere attemped to play their usual possession game. This was rewarded early when Taylor Kenna slalomed her way throug the Marlington defense and pulled the ball back for Mia Fourtounis, who made no mistake in beating the Marlington goalkeeper. 

Revere kept up the pressure, but there was no additional scoring during the 1st half. Marlington had a couple of decent chances, but were undone again when brave work from Lilly Hamblin led to the ball being played out to Taylor Kenna. Kenna took a touch and smashed the 2nd goal of the evening past the Marlington keeper.

A late penalty from Morgan Fee completed the scoring after she was bundled over in the goal area. Fee picked herself up, and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to seal the victory. Revere have to recover quickly as they are in action again tomorrow when they travel to Aurora.
