Revere traveled to North Canton Hoover for a soggy Saturday afternoon encounter. Revere started the game well and were enjoying much of the possession in the rainy conditions. Revere opened the scoring when Kyle Cannon played the ball down the right hand channel for Emily Albert to run on to. Albert cut inside the Hoover defender and fired a shot high into the roof of the Hoover goal. Hoover worked hard to get back into the game but missed several good chances to tie the game and the half ended with the Minutemen up 1-0. Hoover did end up getting back into the game when Revere goalkeeper Olivia Papouras was adjudged to have handled the ball outside the area and the Hoover forward fired the ball through the Revere wall and into the goal. Hoover then went into the lead when the same player broke free down the left and powered a shot past Papouras and into the far side of the goal. Revere tried to get back into the game but it was looking like their efforts would go unrewarded until Amanda Nelson picked up a loosed ball just outside the Hoover goal area. Nelson turned and hit a shot that sailed over the Hoover goalkeeper and into the far corner of the goal. Revere pressed for the final few minutes but were unable to find a way through to get the winning goal.
