Revere High School Girls Soccer Team lost their opening conference game of the season 1-0 against Highland on Thursday evening. After last week's game at Barberton was postponed due to weather, and Wednesday's scheduled  game against Highland was also put back 24 hours, the girls finally got back into action nearly 2 weeks since their last game. Revere started well and were enjoying the majority of possession only for Highland to strike first with their first attack of the game. The ball was played back to Revere goalkeeper Olivia Papouras who attempted to find Claire Brokloff with a pass out from the back. Unfortunately, a Highland forward managed to get to the balll before Brokloff and found the back of the net with her second touch. Revere continued to dominate the game but were unable to find a way back into the game and the half ended 1-0 in favor of Highland. Revere continued on the offensive in the 2nd half, but despite several good chances, the game ended without Revere being able to find the equalizing goal. Revere have a hectic schedule with Hoover, Buckeye, and Copley completing a run of 4 games in 7 days.
