The girls cross country team punched their ticket to the state meet with a 6th place finish at the Division 1 Northeast Regional Championships.
Megan Diulus led the way with an 8th place overall finish and Ellie Meech was next across the line in 9th! Caroline Wilson placed 43rd in her regional debut while Keira Lang placed 55th. Laura Wagner stepped it up to finish as the team's 5th scoring runner while Charlotte Keenan and Allyson Schultz finished close behind to complete the team's seven runners.
This tremendous team effort earned the girls a trip to Fortress Obetz for the Division 1 State Championships this Saturday. This marks the 3rd year in a row that the team has qualified for the OHSAA state championship meet.
