Over the weekend, the Revere Girls Cross Country Team competed in the Division 1 District Championships at Lorain County Community College. The team didn't waste any time adjusting to Division 1 competition in this year's post season. On a challenging course, the girls shocked the field with their 3rd place team finish in one of the toughest districts in Ohio! Although they finished behind a state ranked top 5 and a top 10 team, they also defeated a top 5 team, and two top 25 teams to earn 3rd place at this meet.  

Megan Diulus led the way with a 7th place finish with Ellie Meech close behind in 10th!  Keirra Lang finished 24th while Caroline Wilson and Allyson Schultz finished close together in 39th and 42nd place.  Laura Wagner and Charlotte Keenan completed the team's runners by finishing 52nd and 74th to bring all 7 runners in the top half of this 150 person race. This was a great showing by our girls team! 

The team looks to continue their postseason success at the Regional Championships this Saturday at Boardman as they compete to qualify for the State Championships.
