Congratulations to the varsity Girls Cross Country Team which placed SECOND out of seven tough teams at the Avon Invitational on Saturday Aug 31. Crossing the line in 5th place out of 49 runners, freshman Ally Meixner was first on the team, running a 22:51 followed by freshman Megan Diulus who placed 10th at 23:48, sophomore Reese Downing who placed 11th and senior Keri Tomechko who placed 12th. Shout out the freshmen Sara Tomechko and Sophia Salmons who ran their first cross country race and a huge thanks to the parents who helped with snacks and the tent! Catch us at Walsh on Sept 7!
