Girls XC started the season with an excellent meet at Claymont. Running in the Big Schools Division, the team faced off against tough competition from eight other schools, comprised of 81 other runners. Revere fielded a team of 16 tough competitors. With perfect weather and super fans cheering them on, Revere placed 5th. Freshman Ally Meixner grabbed 14th overall with a time of 22:33, while junior Ruth Anand came in second for the team at 22nd overall place at 23:09 followed immediately by sophomore Evelyn Tucker at 23rd place with a time of 23:12. Sisters Reese and Greer Downing rounded out Revere's top 5. Come see the girls run next at Avon on Saturday Aug 31 at 10:30 and 11:30.
