BATH TWP. -- A strong day by Adison Novosel paced Revere's girls basketball team to a 52-40 win over Woodridge in the opening round of the Macedonia Division II Sectional.

The junior guard poured in a game-high 24 points, including going 10-for-10 at the free throw line, as the Minutemen (13-10) used a dominating first half to advance to Thursday's sectional final against second-ranked CVCA.

Forward Emma Drushell chipped in 14 for Revere in the win, 11 of those points coming in the first half.
