BARBERTON -- A strong start to both halves paced Revere's girls basketball team to its fifth straight win, beating Barberton 66-55 Saturday in Suburban League American Conference action.

Behind the play of senior forward Taylor Rinn (game-high 28 points), the Minutemen stormed out double-digit advantages in both the first and third quarters to earn the victory, which places Revere in a tie for second place in the SL American standings with Highland -- who also won on Saturday over Kent Roosevelt (62-23).

Along with Rinn, both Adison Novosel and Grace Hete caught fire from the perimeter, finishing with 16 and 15 points, respectively, and a combined four 3-pointers.

The Minutemen improve to 9-3, 5-2 with the win, while the Magics drop to 6-7, 4-3.
