Boys Middle School Wrestling vs. Massillon Middle School @ Massillon Junior HS Tiger Duals - 1-25-25

On Saturday, January 25th, the Revere Middle School wrestling team traveled to Massillon to compete in the 2025 Massillon Junior High School Tiger Duals.
Individually, 6 wrestlers had an opportunity to represent Revere, and of the 6 wrestlers most of them were able to compete in six matches in the course of the day. After 6 hours of wrestling competition and 32 separate matches, not one of our varsity wrestlers finished the day undefeated.
We did have two wrestlers finished the day with more wins than losses: Jackson Patton, at 92 lbs., was 5 - 1 on the day and Logan Blewitt, at 116 lbs., was 4 - 2 on the day.
Two other wrestlers finished the day with 3 wins and 3 losses: Shiloh Edwards at 86 lbs. and Levi Shenigo at 134 lbs.
Jackson and Shiloh are having outstanding seasons on the wrestling mat. Jackson Patton is currently 25 - 7 with 12 pins, and Shiloh Edwards is currently 19 - 13 with 13 pins.
For his efforts at this meet and for the improvement shown over the past few weeks, Logan Blewitt was chosen as our Wrestler of the Week !!! Logan had three pins this weekend and suffered one of his two losses by only one point !!!
On Wednesday, January 29th, our wrestlers will host Wadsworth, Woodridge, and Crestwood Middle Schools in our final home competition for this season. All the action is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm.
As we head into the final week of the middle school season, come cheer on Jackson, as he tries to reach 30 wins, Shiloh, as he attempts to move past 20 wins, and our other RMS wrestlers as they battle against our Suburban League foe, Wadsworth Middle School.
If you see one of our RMS wrestlers in class, or in the hallway, wish him luck against this competition!!!
