On Saturday, January 4th, 2025, the Revere Middle School wrestling team traveled to Uniontown to take part in the 2025 Lake Middle School Blue Streaks Invitational Tournament. This is a very prestigious middle school wrestling tournament with outstanding wrestling programs from all over northeast Ohio.
At the end of the tournament, our wrestlers had competed in 18 individual matches against wrestlers from the 15 other teams that had come to wrestle at the Lake Athletic Complex.
Individually, 7 wrestlers had an opportunity to represent Revere, and 1 of our 7 wrestlers finished in the top six in his respective weight class.
Our third place wrestler for REVERE was: Jackson Patton at 86 lbs.. Jackson is currently 15 - 3 on the season with 7 pins.

Jackson came into the tournament as the fourth seeded wrestler. His only loss on the day was to the 1st seed from Lake.
That individual eventually won the tournament at 86 lbs. Shiloh Edwards also came within one match of placing in the tournament.
For his efforts in our two tournaments during the Winter Break, Jackson Patton was selected as our Wrestler of the Week !!!
Jackson wrestled 8 times during the break and recorded 6 wins; including four pins, one technical fall, and one major decision.
On Wednesday, January 8th, our wrestlers will travel to Aurora's Harmon Middle School to compete against wrestlers from Aurora and Barberton. All the action is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm.
