This weekend, March 19th and 20th, six of our middle school wrestlers will compete in the Junior High State Tournament at the Covelli Center in Youngstown.  

Each of them will compete in a bracket filled with 47 other wrestlers from around the State of Ohio, and each of them will be trying to become a middle school state champion.

Our six state qualifiers are:

Mason Massouh at 84 lbs., Mario Brienza at 120 lbs., Ved Desai at 120 lbs., Dom Samartano at 138 lbs., Nathaniel Steiger at 209 lbs., and Dylan Pawlak at 249 lbs.

If you see one of these middle school wrestlers in class, or in the hallway, congratulate him on qualifying for the state tournament and wish him well this weekend !!!
