RHS - Swim & Dive News - 2-22-22...

Last Friday the Revere swimmers competed at the OHSAA district swim meet. Placing in the top 16 and thereby scoring points for Revere were: Abby DiSalvo (12th in 200 free and 13th in butterfly), Julia Grandon (16th in 50 free), Kayla Smith (10th in back), Flynn Cowie (10th in 100 free and a podium finish of 7th in 50 free- pictured), the girls 200 and 400 free relays (DiSalvo, Grandon, Smith and Tarini Gowda placing 9th and 10th respectively) and the boys 200 and 400 free relays (Cowie, Jackson Campbell, Tate Johnson and Weyland Franklyn placing 13th in both events.)  The girls team placed 10th out of 34 teams and boys placed 17th out of 33 teams. 

Congrats to the following swimmers ended their season with a personal best time in an individual event: DiSalvo, Grandon, Smith, Cowie, Johnson, Campbell and Brody Bard. 

While the swimmers may be finished for 21-22, our Revere diver Peyton Thurman is headed to the OHSAA state championship meet tomorrow (Wednesday) in Canton! Best wishes Peyton and thank you for representing Revere at the highest level!
