RHS - Swim & Dive News - 1-24-22...

Last week, the Revere Swim/Dive girls and boys teams lost to Kent. The meet had an exciting dual meet dive competition with Peyton Thurman taking 1st and lots of close races including a tie for first place in the 50 free by Flynn Cowie. Others scoring first for Revere include Abby DiSalvo in 200 free and butterfly, Tate Johnson in 200 and 500 free, Kayla Smith in 100 free and backstroke, Jackson Campbell in 100 free, the girls 200 and 400 free relay team of DiSalvo, Smith, Julia Grandon and Tarini Gowda, and boys 400 free relay team of Cowie, Johnson, Campbell and Weyland Franklyn. "Team players" of the meet for stepping up to help their team are Adam Stumbaugh, Jacob Ferrara and Emmy Schmidt. 

Kudos to the following athletes for achieving a new PR: juniors Aryan Pai, Tate Johnson and Jacob Ferrara; sophomore Emery Banks; and freshman Ben Mauldin.

The swim/dive teams have their last dual meets of the season on Wednesday, January 26th at Twinsburg Rec Center. Please come out to support our seniors:  Adam Stumbaugh, Joe Martin, Claire Palopoli, Peyton Thurman, Flynn Cowie and Jackson Campbell.
