RHS - Swim & Dive News - 1-14-22...

RHS swim team had a close meet with lots of competitive racing versus the Copley Indians on Wednesday. We would like to thank all the staff and students who came out to support us!

The girls won 85-77 with first place finishes by Abby DiSalvo (200 free and 100 free), Kayla Smith (200 IM), Tarini Gowda (50 free), and Carla Nemer (100 breaststroke) and the 200 free relay team of DiSalvo, Smith, Gowda and Julia Grandon. 

The boys lost 78-89. Coming in 1st for the boys were Flynn Cowie (50 free and 100 breaststroke), Jackson Campbell (100 fly and 100 back) and the 400 free relay team of Cowie, Jackson, Weyland Franklyn and Tate Johnson. 

Thanks to everyone that gave it their all for the Minutemen on Wednesday. The athletes securing new personal best times are: seniors Jackson Campbell and Claire Palopoli; juniors Tate Johnson, Aryan Pai, Weyland Franklyn, Jacob Vastagh, Carla Nemer, Jacob Ferrara and Rishi Velma; sophomores Kayla Smith, Peter Shockey and Mohammed Essa; and freshman Brody Bard, Lily Bright, Will Sveda, Jimmy Rossignol and Ben Mauldin. 

Our swimmers and diver are back in action tomorrow morning at the North East Classic Invitational. Best of luck!
