RHS - Swim & Dive News - 1-10-22...

Revere swim and dive raced against Cuyahoga Falls on Saturday and brought home a Win for both the boys and girls teams. The meet had a lot of close races which was super exciting!

The boys won 100-69 and had first place finishes by Flynn Cowie in the 200 free and 500 free, Brody Bard in IM and 100 free, Jackson Campbell in 50 free and backstroke, Aryan Pai in butterfly, Tate Johnson in breaststroke and the relay team of Cowie, Weyland Franklyn, Johnson and Campbell in the 200 free and 400 free. 

The girls also won 95-79 with first place finishes by Julia Grandon in 200 free and 500 free, Kayla Smith in IM and backstroke, Peyton Thurman in diving, Tarini Gowda in 100 free, and the relay team of Grandon, Smith, Gowda and Abby DiSalvo in the 200 free and 400 free. 

Congrats on new personal best times: freshman Brody Bard, Lily Bright, Bane Thurman, Jimmy Rossignol, and Will Sveda; sophomores Julia Grandon, Kayla Smith, Emmy Schmidt, Evan George, and Emery Banks: juniors Carla Nemer, Tate Johnson, Aryan Pai, and Jacob Ferrara; and seniors Flynn Cowie, Adam Stumbaugh, and Claire Palopoli.

The swimming Minutemen take on Copley this Wednesday Jan. 12 at 5:30 pm at Copley High School. We hope to see you in the stands. It's a RED OUT! Come support your Revere Swim Team!
