RMS - Wrestling News - 12-15-21...
This past Saturday, December 11th, the RMS wrestling team traveled to the Cedar Point Sports Complex in Sandusky to compete in the 2021 Coaster Clash.
At the end of the tournament, our wrestling team finished in 7th out of 30 teams. Considering the limited years of experience we have as a team, this was an outstanding accomplishment !!!
Individually, 14 wrestlers had an opportunity to represent Revere, and of the 14 wrestlers there were 12 that were able to compete in at least four matches in the course of the day. Two of our varsity wrestlers finished the day undefeated !!!

Ved Desai - 4 - 0 with 2 pins @ 128 lbs. & Dylan Pawlak - 3 - 0 with 3 pins @ 245 lbs.
Placing 2nd for Revere:
Brody Smith at 160 lbs., and Nathaniel Steiger at 205 lbs.
Placing 3rd for Revere:
Mason Massouh at 86 lbs., and Robbie Akins at 92 lbs.
Placing 4th for Revere:
Carson Sample at 80 lbs.
Placing 5th for Revere:
Mario Brienza at 122 lbs., and Max Berlin at 134 lbs.
Best match of the tournament has to go to Ved Desai; who battled against a tough West Geauga opponent and ultimately won by a score of 6 - 5. This well earned victory propelled Ved to his first place finish.
For his efforts on this past week, Max Berlin was chosen as our Wrestler of the Week !!! Max currently has a record of 9 - 2 with 5 pins, and he is having a tremendous start to his first year of wrestling
Today, Wednesday, December 15th, our wrestlers will host Brecksville Middle School and North Royalton Middle School. All the action is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm. Come watch the action and cheer on your favorite wrestler !!!
