The next match was against the host team, Barberton Middle School.  The match with the Magic was a back-and-forth battle; as it typically has been in recent years.

Unfortunately Revere suffered defeats in the last three weight classes and came up short in the final team score.

The final team score:   Barberton  45   and   Revere  35

Winning by FORFEIT for REVERE:

A total of six JV matches were wrestled against Copley and Barberton.

The most exciting matches of the day belonged to Carson Sample, who scored a takedown in the waining seconds to beat his Copley opponent, and Brody Smith who ultimately pinned his Barberton opponent with 6 seconds left in the first period after almost scoring a pin several times earlier in the match.
