The RHS Indoor track and field team traveled to Geneva last night for their second meet at the Spire Institute. Although they got home late, their performances were anything but tired! 

Maggie Zurn started the night out with a Shot Put PR to take 7th place and finished 4th in the weight throw.  Jan Benedetti had a big night placing 1st in the long jump, 2nd in the 200 and 6th in th 60 while Chloe Grimm, Ally Meixner and Nina Verner Took 5th, 6th and 7th place in the long jump. Paige Miller and Kayla Kephart placed 1st and 3rd in the 60m hurdles. Leah Valentine took 7th in the 60. Aleni Bender placed 1st in the 1600 with an improvement of over ten seconds and Ally Meixner and Evelyn Tucker 5th and 6th. Chloe Grimm and Kayla Kephart placed 3rd and 4th in the 400.  Tatum Harner took 8th in the 200 and Megan Diulus placed 2nd in the 3200 in her first attempt at the distance.  The 4 x 800M relay team of Diulus, Tucker, Meixner and Meech just out leaned the team of Bender, Kinder, Fulton and Anand for a 1-2 placing for Revere and the 4 x 400 meter relay of Aleni Bender, Ally Meixner, Katie Kinder and Megan Diulus took First Place! 

For the boys team, Ian Matias was 8th in the shot put and 3rd in the weight throw while Andrew Thomas and Steven Thomas took 4th and 5th in the weight throw.  Sam FIsher Placed 4th in the 60 with a new PR  and  was 7th in the 200, while Cameron Fisher took 6th in the 200 with a season best time. Naveen Elliot took first in the 800 with another personal best! Akshay Elango won the 3200 meter run in his first race at the distance and Sam Bockstoce PR'd to place 7th.  Lastly the 4x 800 Relay team of Akshay Elango, Damon Furukawa, Philip Liu and Sam Bockstoce placed 3rd and so did the 4 x 400 team of Naveen Elliott, Cameron Penzenik, Sam Fisher and David Anand!
