Personal Bests at Strongsville!!!

The Revere High School Girls Cross Country Team competed at the Strongsville Invitational this weekend with tremendous individual results.  Season best times were run by Megan Diulus, Ally Meixner, Evelyn Tucker, Ella Leigh, and Leah Valentine while Kayla Beard, Camryn Bir, Norah Brownlee, Netta Carter, Lily Fox, Kate Fuller, Charlotte Keenan, Kayla Kephart, Katie Kinder, Navaeh Neidlinger, Olivia Paxton, Megan Riley, Dee Dee Sawan, Allyson Schultz, and Laura Wagner all recorded new personal best times!  Every girl that ran on Saturday recorded their best time of the year!

Megan Diulus led the way in the varsity race with a strong 14th place finish, while Katie Kinder, Charlotte Keenan, Laura Wagner, and Evelyn Tucker all stepped up as scorers for the varsity team with great performances!  In the Junior Varsity race, the team placed 5th out of 22 teams with an incredible team effort.  Kayla Kephart and Norah Brownlee each medaled as they finished in the top 30 while Lily Fox, Dee Dee Sawan and Camryn Bir completed the team's top five scorers while all running PRs.

A special congratulations goes out to Katie Kinder who earned a spot on Revere High School's record board and became the 15th fastest runner in school history!  Keep up the great work Katie!

The team takes on Copley in a Suburban League rivalry meet this Thursday at Howe Meadow.  Be sure to come out and support both the girls and boys teams as they take on our rivals.
