Girls Varsity Cross Country

The Revere High School Girls Cross Country Team competed at the Walsh Jesuit Invitational on Saturday and put forth a great team wide performance. In the open race, Ella Leigh, Kate Fuller, Zoe Drouhard, Naveah Neidlinger and Olivia Paxton all ran Personal bests to lead the team to a 5th place performance. Ella Leigh and Kate Fuller earned top 20 finishes while Sophia Salmons closed out her race with a season best time as well!
The Junior Varsity team of Allyson Shultz, Dee Dee Sawan, Norah Brownlee, Lily Fox, Kayla Beard and Fiore Cannon all ran pr's to put together a 3rd place finish in a deep field including all divisions! Allyson Shultz captured 7th place while Dee Dee Sawan, Norah Brownlee and Lily Fox all placed in the top 20!
To close out the day, the varsity team raced to a 3rd place finish against a tough field including multiple state ranked teams. Megan Diulus led the way with a 7th place finish while Aleni Bender ran her season best to finish 8th. Katie Kinder ran a new PR to capture 16th and Morgan Dobos placed 22nd! Freshman Charlotte Keenan continued a streak of strong racing while Evelyn Tucker ran her season best. Laura Wagner and Kayla Kephart both set new PR's!
