The Girls Soccer Team won a tight game against Kent 3-2 on Wednesday evening. Playing against a very physical Kent side, Revere started slowly and took time to adjust to the grass field. Once settled, Revere started to apply pressure, and duly took the lead when Morgan Fee pounced on a poor clearance from the Kent keeper, who had ventured way out of her goal. Fee hit a shot from about 30 yards over the keeper and into the back of the net to give Revere the lead. Revere soon doubled their lead when Taylor Kenna fought her way through the defense and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way with a cool finish. Kent pulled a goal back when a low shot evaded Olivia Papouras in the Revere goal and found the side netting. Revere were not finished though, and Katarina Tsarouhas restored the two goal advantage with a curling left footed effort that sailed over the keeper and into the goal. Kent once again reduced the advantage from a corner, but Revere's defense held strong to improve their overall record to 6-2-1, and their conference record to 3-1-1. The girls play three times in four days with a home game against Brecksville followed by trips to Marlington on Monday before they conclude conference play at Aurora on Tuesday.
