APPLE CREEK -- The red-hot shooting of Waynedale's girls basketball team was too much for Revere to handle Saturday afternoon in a 78-59 non-league loss.

Thanks to the outside accuracy of guard Kelsey Wolfe (26 points) and the overall play of point/forward Brooklyn Troyer (20), the Golden Bears (3-0) stormed out to an early lead and never looked back.

The Minutemen (1-1) had three players finish in double figures, paced by sophomore Ava Schiesswohl's 16-point effort. Adison Novosel chipped in 15, while Jeanne Hujer added 10 in the losing effort.
