The Girls Soccer team got back on track with a 3-1 win at Lake on Monday evening. Buoyed by being ranked 10th in the state this week, the girls started strongly and took the lead when Morgan Fee played in Taylor Kenna. Kenna's shot was too strong for the Lake goalkeeper and ended up in the back of the net. Revere kept up the pressure and scored a 2nd goal when Anna Clarke found Kenna in the area. Kenna made no mistake with her, and Revere's 2nd goal of the evening. Kenna then went from scorer to provider when she fed Bianca Milovancev, whose wicked cross-shot beat the Lake goalkeeper at the near post. Revere took the lead into half time and looked to increase their advantage, but despite dominating possession, were unable to add to the scoreline. Outstanding work at the heart of the defence from Sophia Koutrodimos and Ruby McGrievy kept Lake at bay until a couple of minutes remaining when Lake scored a consolation goal. Revere play again on Wednesday at Kent Roosevelt in a Suburban League matchup.
