On Friday, the top athletes from the RHS indoor track and field team competed at the NEOITC All-Star Meet against athletes from 32 of the best teams in Northeast Ohio.

Individual Qualifiers for this meet included: Ellie Meech, Aleni Bender, Caroline Gage, Jan Benedetti, Alanna Ramsey, Michael McKee, Andy Feltman, Naveen Elliott, Cameron Penzenik, Alexander Landis, Ian Matias, Steven Thomas and Allison Rozak.

Along with individual qualifiers, the team also sent relays consisting of Nina Verner, Katie Kinder, Rachel DeWitt, Chloe Grimm, Kayla Kephart, Alexa Furukawa, Ruth Anand, Evelyn Tucker, Keri Tomechko, Sam Fisher, Andrew Thomas, David Anand, Dylan Helms, Adam Chase, Zach Meixner, Philip Liu and Damon Furukawa.

Alanna Ramsey took home a third place in the shot put, while the boys 4 x 800 relay team of Elliott, Landis, Feltman and Anand also finished 3rd. Ellie Meech placed 4th in the 3200 with a new PR and Aleni Bender Placed 7th in the 1600. Andy Feltman earned an 8th place finish in the 3200 with a new PR, while Ian Matias, Naveen Elliott, and the boys 4 x 200 relay of McKee, Penzenik, Fisher and Thomas all scored top 10 finishes with New Personal Bests.
