AURORA -- A lead in the final two minutes didn't hold up as Revere's girls basketball team fell to league-leading Aurora 53-51 Saturday in Suburban League American Conference action.
Behind keys plays from sophomore Adison Novosel and senior Grace Hete, the Minutemen (4-3, 3-2) led by as much as five in the closing minutes of regulation, before the Greenmen (6-0, 4-0) took control. Sophomore guard Adison Novosel had a game-high 20 points, while seniors Taylor Rinn and Grace Hete finished with 15 and 10 points, respectively.
Sophomore Shyanne Sellers poured in 16 to pace Aurora.
Revere will be back in action this Wednesday as it plays host to Akron Kenmore in non-conference play.
